Events

Dhuga-y is the Wayilwan word meaning to “do satisfyingly”

WWA events are facilitated and delivered satisfyingly.

Special Occasions and Events

Warraan Widji Arts facilitates performances for special occasions in partnership with groups and organisations.

WWA has partnered with:

  •  Warren Central School at the 2022 Warren Central School P&C Fete and the 2024 GROW Warren Day.

  • Outback Arts and Warren Shire Council for the 2022 and 2023 Warren Christmas Street Party

  • Castlereagh Connection at our For Our Elders Concert 6 August 2023 at the Window on the Wetlands (WOW) Centre, Warren

  • Warren Youth Foundation, Royal Flying Doctors South East Division and Barnardos at the GROW Warren Community Day 13 April 2023 and 7 May 2024

  • Outback Arts to support the Its’ in Our Hands art exhibition opening for First Nations artists in the region as part of NAIDOC 2023 celebrations 13 July 2023.

WWA strategically partners with organisations to grow opportunities for youth performance and participation in local events. Events which include First Nations youth are empowering to our mob and support the dismantling of systemic racism.

If your organisation would like our music or dance ensembles to perform at your event please do not hesitate to get in touch by emailing us at info@warraanwidjiarts.org.au

Financial support toward growing opportunities for youth to participate in such events are greatly appreciated. Please click on DONATE button below if you are able to support us.

THANK YOU!
