Events & Projects

Dhuga-y is the Wayilwan word meaning to “do satisfyingly”

WWA projects events are delivered satisfyingly!

Warraan Widji Arts delivers programs to meet the needs of our local mob and facilitates performances for special occasions in partnership with groups and organisations to grow cultural awareness in the local community.

For Our Elders, NAIDOC Concert, 6 August 2023. Members of the Warraan Widji Arts First Nations’ Children’s/Youth Choir sing Yanma-li (Lean on Me - Join Up with Hand) in Wayilwan language.

WWA strategically partners with organisations to grow opportunities for youth performance and participation in local events. Events which include First Nations youth are empowering to our mob and support the dismantling of systemic racism.

If your organisation would like our music or dance ensembles to perform at your event please do not hesitate to get in touch by emailing us at info@warraanwidjiarts.org.au

Financial support toward growing opportunities for youth to participate in such events are greatly appreciated. Please click on DONATE button below if you are able to support us.

THANK YOU!
